Pure Chem specializes in purchasing R-22 through the contractor consolidation program. In addition to R-22, Pure Chem also purchases the following refrigerants:

We offer competitive prices, can provide empty recovery cylinders and operate nationwide.
The buy back program guidelines are as follows:

Refrigerant will only be accepted in DOT approved containers 125 lb. or larger.

Empty recovery cylinders can be provided upon request.

Pure Chem pays freight for shipments of 900 lb or more of gross refrigerant. Pure Chem will assist in freight arrangements including proper bills of lading and labeling.

Oil content must be less than 20%. Cylinders with oil content over 20% will receive a .25¢ per lb deduction.

Each cylinder will be weighed and analyzed upon receipt for purity and oil %. If incoming refrigerant does not meet the contract requirements, you will be notified as soon as the results are obtained. A detailed receiving report by cylinder will be provided to the customer.

Pure Chem reserves the right to return at customer’s expense, any cylinder (and its contents) that does not meet DOT approval or where the contents are found to be something other than refrigerant and normal contaminants.

Payment is based on the net amount of refrigerant after removal of oil and other contaminants.

Payment is made 30 days after receipt of refrigerant and final test results.
