R-410A Refrigerant Return Program

Pure Chem responds to the needs of contractors by creating a superior R-410A Refrigerant Return Program that complements our industry leading R-22 Buy Back Program.  We recognize that R-410A has an increasing role for many of our contractors and we are excited to offer a return program that has the features they have asked for.

This simple program has many of the same benefits as our highly successful and popular R-22 program.

 Key Provisions:

  • High pressure (400 psi) recovery 240lb cylinder for R-410A will be sold for $400.00 plus shipping.  Cylinders are shipped sealed, in a vacuum and have ¼ inch hose adaptors included for your convenience.  Proper DOT labels necessary for return are included in a packet on the cylinder.  Cylinder size:

 240 lbs.        $400

  • The contractor transfers R-410A into the cylinder and calls us when full.  Options for returning full cylinder to Pure Chem:

    Option One – Pure Chem arranges inbound freight at its low discounted rates and charges the freight bill to the contractor’s credit card.  The contractor may arrange and pay for freight if they want.

    Option Two – If 410A cylinder is returned at the same time as your Pure Chem R-22 recovery cylinder, we will cover freight.

  • Payment based on the following purity levels:

99%+                      $0.25/lb
90% – 98.99%            No Charge, Pure Chem pays freight
Below 90%                 $2.50 destruction fee, or returned to customer at customer’s expense

Cylinders will be emptied and returned within 2 weeks.  Pure Chem will pay the freight on the empty return cylinder.

  • A receiving report of the refrigerant received will be mailed within 2 weeks of receipt.  The receiving report will contain all of the information needed for EPA record-keeping.
  • The R-410A Refrigerant Return Program is only available to participants in the Pure Chem R-22 Buy Back Program.

 Getting Started: 

Participate in the Pure Chem R-22 Buy Back Program and simply purchase a high pressure (400 psi) recovery 240lb cylinder and begin recovering R-410A.
